Nancy Chillag

I grew up in South Bend, Indiana and was raised with good, wholesome, Midwest values and learned early on in life that family is one of the most important things you will ever have.

After receiving my undergraduate degree from Indiana University, I moved to California to attend law school at Santa Clara University.  I graduated in the top of my class and had the distinguished honor of serving as the Articles Editor of the Santa Clara Law Review. Since graduating from law school in 1982, I became certified to practice law in the State of California and before the United States District Court and Tax Court, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court. I am also a certified public accountant and licensed real estate broker, allowing me to more fully understand your business and real estate holdings, integrate them into your estate plan and offer practical, as well as legal advice, and to effectively communicate with your other trusted advisors.

I moved from San Francisco to Menlo Park in 1987 and shortly thereafter, opened my own law firm. My goal was to establish relationships with my clients and become their trusted advisors as they went through life’s ups and downs.

I’m married and have three wonderful daughters. I know the importance of having estate planning documents in place. I have faced many of the same issues that you are currently facing – Who will handle our family assets when we are gone? Who will take care of my children if something happens to my husband and me? How will we make sure that we are able to provide for ourselves and our growing family?

I own my own business and I am an avid real estate investor. I understand the issues facing business owners and investors. I also understand that it is not enough to simply have a trust or will in place – your estate plan must integrate all aspects of your life, including real estate management, business operation and succession, as well as the tax implications of each of these.

My goal is to see your entire life picture and help you live your life to its fullest by making sure that your family and your assets are protected and that the plan we put into place for you can change as your life changes. My goal is to be your trusted advisor for life!

To Your Future Success!
